It has been quite a week. I have spent the last week digging out from the recent flooding in Boulder, CO. I did have some basement flooding, but did far better than some. I got 2 inches of rain in the basement, but the sump pump kept working, and we fortunately didn’t lose power. I was lucky enough to find and purchase a powerful sump pump that could actually pump 30 gallons a minute, and that sump ran non-stop for 48 hours getting water out of the basement. There are others who actually have several feet of water in their basement, and others who lost their home completely. In the big picture, we did just fine!.
I do plan to attend the Extreme Sales Summit I mentioned in some earlier posts. The PRIME Group has partnered with Professional Remodeler Magazine to bring a fresh an “Extreme Sales Summit“ to the industry to redefine what it means to succeed in this new post-downturn economy. Attending that program will be a nice break and give me a chance to catch-up with old friends.
I know it’s short notice, but if you would like more information on the sales summit, let me know. Some things that changed since 2008 (as you already know), so this meeting should provide some good information on working within the “new economy”. The summit starts this Wednesday, the 25th. Let me know if you need additional information.
Thanks – I hope I see some of you there!
